Buttercups Ceramic Studio at Tees Pottery is a casual pottery studio located within the grounds of Hurworth Grange Community Centre just 3 miles outside of Darlington.

We invite you to come along for a relaxing, memory making session where you can paint a piece of functional pottery such as a mug, plate, bowl, platter and much more or how about a fun item like a money box, figurine or fun home accessory.

Whether you are looking to coordinate colour and design into you home or create a unique gift for a special occasion – or maybe just a mug to drink your coffee! – you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Potters Wheel – Ever fancied having a go?
Always fancied a go on a potters wheel or want to brush-up on your throwing skills?

We have the ideal opportunity for you to work on our electric wheels – we run regular taster sessions for beginners or, for those already experienced, why not just book some creative time on a wheel.

You can also have a go with other methods of working with clay, come back when we have fired them ready for you to decorate.

Clay work is fantastic fun for people of all ages and abilities, people with learning and physical disabilities find it great for relaxation, co-ordination and mobility.
